Chelsea are reportedly eyeing Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone as their top target to lead the team next season.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich is a big fan of the Argentine, who has established himself as one of the best coaches in the world during his time in La Liga.
Simeone has won the Spanish league title, Copa del Rey and the Europa League during his time in Madrid, leading to interest from a number of top clubs.
However, Fichajes.net claims Abramovich is stepping up his interest in bringing the 45-year-old to Stamford Bridge as the long-term replacement for Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese was sacked in December after a dreadful start to the season with Guus Hiddink put in temporary charge until the end of this campaign.
