Samsung Galaxy S7 is out, here are 5 Things To Know About This Epic New Phone

With all-new features and a sleek design, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is set to be the brand’s most amazing phone yet. The latest Galaxy was unveiled on Feb. 21, and it’s just as cool-looking as it is high-tech. Want to know more about the Galaxy S7 ahead of its release? Let us help you out!

  1. The S7 isn’t any bigger than the S6, but it sure will be nicer.

The Galaxy S7 will feature faster performance, a longer lasting battery, an improved 12-megapixel camera, an IP68 water-resistant rating. The Galaxy S7 Edge, however, will have a 5.5-inch display.

  1. Preordering the phone has a perk.

If you order your Galaxy S7 between February 23 and March 18, Samsung will give you a free Gear VR virtual reality headset as well as a bundle of six games. That gift is valued at $100, so it’s definitely a sweet deal!

  1. You don’t have to wait long to get one.

Although Samsung just revealed the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge on Feb. 21, the phones will hit stores just a few weeks later on March 11 with every US carrier. And judging by the hype, they’ll be selling like hotcakes! (But if you want to get ahead of the game, you can preorder it starting on Feb. 23!)

  1. The microSD card slot is back!

Samsung users were not exactly happy to find out that the S6 didn’t include a slot for microSD cards, which increase the storage space on your phone. It was only right to give the people what they want and put one in the S7!

  1. They’re not cheap, but they seem to be totally worth it.

Because these phones are so high-tech, the Galaxy S7 comes in around $670 and the S7 Edge costs at $780. But before you think that you can’t afford it, never fear — each carrier is offering monthly payment plans, so get excited for March 11!
